Our Story
In 2019, Aesthete began as a small, single-room cosmetic clinic, built and operated solely by Janette.
Two years later, that direction shifted following a defining patient experience, when a long-term patient presented during a period of profound personal grief seeking treatment, and it became clear that the care required in that moment extended beyond what cosmetic treatment alone could provide, revealing a limitation not in capability, but in the model itself.
This realisation marked a turning point, establishing that care confined to appearance alone is incomplete, and that a more considered, comprehensive approach was required to support patients not only in how they look, but in how they feel, function, and move through life.
It was here that Aesthete evolved beyond a purely cosmetic model, and with Janette’s husband Tim joining as General Manager, this shift was brought to life through the design and build of the current clinic, personally led by them, with every element considered to support a broader, more integrated model of care.
From this foundation, Aesthete continues to be guided by the understanding that aesthetic medicine, skin, emotional wellbeing, and internal health are intrinsically connected and must be approached as one, shaping a standard of care that extends beyond treatment alone.
