Skin

No. You don’t have to worry about removing makeup prior to your appointment, as we will cleanse your skin for you to remove all traces of makeup before treatment.

Skin peels will range from a light prickling sensation to intense heat & prickling, based on the percentage & type of active ingredients in the peel. Erythema/redness is expected post treatment & settles within the first hour. Superficial peels do not require any down time & minimal flakiness of skin can sometimes be expected. Our therapist will advise you & explain in detail prior to your appointment your expected downtime and aftercare.

Skin needling can be uncomfortable on the nose, lip & forehead due to these zones being more sensitive with less padding. We offer our clients to have numbing applied for this treatment, so it is a more relaxing & enjoyable service. Numbing will need to be applied 20min prior to appointment.

You will notice very superficial changes in the skin such as hydration & a glow to your appearance initially after your treatment. When we are working on congestion, ageing, uneven skin tone or texture concerns, results take a few treatments to be noticed. Skin is an investment and more of a lifestyle commitment. Our therapist goes through a detailed consultation when you first come in to experience Aesthete & will provide you with a customized skin plan. A skin plan commonly consists of an average of 6 treatments spread over 3-4mths to obtain optimal results. Maintenance treatments are required periodically depending on the skin.

For all our new clients we offer 1.5hr appointments which include consult & treatment. This allows our therapist to assess your skin & talk to you about any concerns you have & educate you on best recommended products & treatments. Our therapists will customise a skin plan & recommended treatment for you on the day based on your budget & skin goals.

General

There is 3 hour parking available behind Spinners Bar and Bowl on Duporth avenue and we also recommend the 3 hour parking available at the Big Top undercover area.

As a first-time client at Aesthete we ask that you book in for a “New Client Consultation “, we offer extended 1.5 hour appointments to ensure you leave feeling fully educated on all of your options as well as allowing for treatment on the day.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment to fill out any necessary client information forms and to relax and enjoy a welcome beverage in our waiting area.

Due to health and safety practices, we ask that parents and guardians find alternate childcare at the time of their appointment. We appreciate your understanding.

Cosmetic

We ask that you wait 2 weeks pre and post vaccinations including the Covid 19 vaccination.

Etiquette

We ask guests and clients to arrive 15 minutes early for their appointments. If you arrive late, this may compromise the full length of your treatment and compromise your experience. We also endeavour to remain on time as a courtesy to each guest/ client/ patient.

Your health, wellbeing and safety is our priority. It is essential you disclose to staff all health conditions so we can determine if you are suitable for your proposed treatment/s.

In the best interest of our guests and clients, and to ensure we provide the very best personalised care and experience possible; we ask that you present to your appointment alone. Our best attempts to provide a space of calm also means keeping noise to a minimum. We ask mobile phones to be switched to silent prior to entering the building.

New Client Consultations require a $75 booking fee. This applies to all new patients and skin clients. This condition is strictly implemented so that we can dedicate our time and resources exclusively to the concerning individual.

For returning or existing customers there is a compulsory deposit of 50$ for all appointment bookings.

New Patient/Client – Your consultation fee is non-refundable, however redeemable on treatments if you proceed with treatment at the same appointment.

Returning Patient/ Client – Your deposit booking is non-refundable, however redeemable on treatments on the day of your appointment.

An automated confirmation text is typically sent to your mobile number provided 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please bear in mind that it is still your responsibility to adhere to your appointment even if you do not receive a reminder text, call or email from us.

We respectfully request that you contact us at least 48 clinic business hours (the clinic is closed on Saturday and Sundays) before your scheduled appointment if you are unable to attend your appointment or should the appointment time become inconvenient for you.

Our policies are implemented to ensure our patient care remains impeccable and so that we can continue to provide a fair and timely service to all of our patients.

We thank you for your co-operation and understanding.

We accept EFTPOS, Paypal, Bank Transfer and cash only. Zip money and Zippay can be used through apple wallet services. We do not offer any other after pay services or AMEX.

Please wear attire that is most comfortable. Upon arrival, if you require to remove jewellery for treatment, you will be provided with an envelope to place your valuables into, and will remain in your possession.

At no stage will staff take accountability for looking after valuables. We encourage any personal possessions of value are not brought to your appointment.
