To support the most accurate assessment and treatment experience, we recommend attending your appointment with minimal makeup or skincare application where possible.

Certain medications and supplements, including anti-inflammatory medications, fish oil and alcohol, may increase the risk of bruising following some aesthetic procedures.

Patients experiencing active cold sores (HSV-1), infections, wounds or periods of illness may require treatment postponement for patient safety and optimal healing outcomes.

More detailed preparation guidance will be provided prior to treatment where clinically relevant.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Derm-Aesthetic Medicine reflects Aesthete’s integrated philosophy of aesthetic and restorative medicine, combining Aesthetic Medicine, regenerative medicine, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery within one evolving framework of care.

Yes. Comprehensive consultation and clinical assessment are required prior to commencement of most treatment pathways to ensure suitability, safety and personalised treatment planning.

Depending on clinical suitability, treatment approach and appointment allocation, some non-surgical procedures may be considered within the same appointment as consultation. Surgical procedures require separate specialist consultation, planning and consideration of procedural recovery and downtime.

Every treatment pathway at Aesthete is individually designed according to skin condition, facial structure, treatment goals, regenerative capacity and long-term patient outcomes.

Specialist Plastic Surgery consultations are progressively being integrated within Aesthete’s broader Derm-Aesthetic Medicine division through collaboration with visiting Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Yun Phua.

A referral is not required to attend a private consultation with Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Yun Phua. However, in some cases, a valid referral from your General Practitioner or Specialist may be recommended or required for specific medical, reconstructive or skin cancer-related concerns.

Our team can assist in guiding the most appropriate consultation pathway based on your individual concerns and treatment goals.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

As we age, our skin naturally loses elasticity and volume, leading to the development of fine lines and wrinkles. These are most commonly caused by repetitive facial expressions, sun exposure, and the natural aging process.

MORE INFO
Collagen Stimulation

Over time, the natural aging process, lifestyle factors, and environmental exposure can cause a gradual loss of collagen in the skin. This leads to sagging, fine lines, and volume loss, making you look older than you feel. Collagen stimulating treatments are able to restore facial volume, improve skin texture, and rejuvenate your appearance naturally and gradually.

Facial Volume & Contouring

As we age, our skin gradually loses elasticity, and facial fat diminishes, leading to volume loss and less defined facial contours. This can create a tired, hollow, or sunken appearance, particularly in areas such as the cheeks, temples, and jawline.
